Children’s Pastor/Director Christ Community Covenant Church (4Cs) | Arvada, Colorado Part-Time | Approx. 20 hours/week | $22,000–$25,000/year Strong potential to grow into a full-time role. Help us build what’s next… Christ Community Covenant Church is entering an exciting new chapter, and reaching the next generation is a big part of where we’re headed. We’re looking for a Children’s Pastor/Director who loves Jesus, loves kids and families, and gets excited about building something. We don’t simply want someone to keep children’s programs running. We want someone who will dream with us. 4Cs is an established, multigenerational Evangelical Covenant Church in Arvada, Colorado. We have children, families, volunteers, facilities, and existing ministries already in place—but plenty of room to create, improve, experiment, and grow. Partner with parents to help kids know Jesus and follow Him together. What You’ll Get to Do… Create engaging, Christ-centered Sunday experiences for kids Build meaningful relationships with children and parents Recruit, encourage, and equip an awesome team of volunteers Help shape curriculum and children’s ministry environments Lead special events and seasonal ministries like VBS/Kids Camp Dream up creative ways to connect with families in our community Partner with our staff to make kids and families a vital part of the whole church Bring your own ideas to the table Who We’re Looking For… Someone who is: Jesus-centered. Relational. Creative. Dependable. Collaborative. Fun. Someone who can lead adults as well as children, turn ideas into reality, and gets excited by the words: “What if we tried this?” Previous children’s ministry experience is strongly preferred. Ministry or theological education is welcomed but not required. More than anything, we’re looking for the right person whose character, gifts, and calling fit this season at 4Cs. The Opportunity… This is currently a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week , with compensation of $22,000–$25,000 annually , depending on experience. And we believe this ministry can grow! As our ministry to children and families grows, there is strong potential for this position to develop into a full-time role in the near future.
