Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift Sanitation Lead to oversee a crew of approximately 28 sanitation associates. This hands-on role requires detailed disassembly and assembly of large-scale bakery production equipment, while adhering to master sanitation schedules. The shift operates from 3pm to 11:30pm.
Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of sanitation associates, ensuring efficient and effective cleaning processes.
• Disassemble and assemble large-scale bakery production equipment.
• Follow master sanitation schedules and ensure compliance with HACCP and FDA standards.
• Implement process improvements and conduct root cause analysis to resolve sanitation issues.
• Perform janitorial duties and ensure all equipment is sanitized properly.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2-3 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing facility.
• Experience leading a sanitation crew.
• Hands-on experience with large food manufacturing equipment, particularly in a bakery setting.
• Knowledge of process improvement and root cause analysis.
• Ability to follow master sanitation schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to manage a team effectively while remaining hands-on.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address sanitation issues.

Work Environment
This position is based in a food manufacturing facility with multiple production lines that produce various products based on daily order demands. The bakery environment includes large mixers and ovens, requiring machinery to be taken apart and hand-washed, which presents challenges for the sanitation team. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
