Responsible for assisting elementary school children in crossing the street at designated intersections in a safe and orderly manner. Essential Functions Stops traffic flow across streets and intersections that may or may not have a permanent stop sign Places traffic cones in the street before school begins and removes at end of school as needed Notifies police headquarters of real or potential hazards and pedestrian accidents in the vicinity Ability to get along with customers and co-workers Maintains regular and punctual on-site attendance Additional Duties Performs other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Overall Strength Demands: The bold and italicized word describes the overall strength demand of the functions performed by the incumbent during a typical workday.
