As a Relationship Manager II - C&IB (F) within PNC's Public Finance organization, you will be based in Birmingham, AL. Preferences: Public Finance experience, Formal credit training. Job Description (Responsibilities) Coordinates relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients in a book of business to grow sales, revenue and market share with relevant sales goals. Works with clients with moderate levels of risk and complexity of needs. Generates revenue and deepens share of wallet by acquiring, expanding and retaining client relationships within stated guidelines. Handles the origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of credit and non-credit products and services. Manages risk/return and drives quality for new and/or existing clients. Actively identifies and mitigates regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks. Provides ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client’s needs and financial well‑being. Increases client engagement and loyalty. Manages an effective network of internal and external relationships (e.g., community or industry relationships) to acquire new clients and expand existing ones. Brings entire bank to the client by presenting the full range of PNC’s products and services. Utilizes reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and convert sales opportunities. Demonstrates ability to analyze, evaluate and mitigate credit risk for more complex credit requests using advanced credit fundamentals and internal credit policies. Qualifications Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role. The required qualifications include: University or college degree, with 5+ years of industry‑relevant experience. Comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered in lieu of a degree. Specific certifications are often required; in lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience may be considered.
