Paralegal Legal Assistant

Job Description Job Description Kitay Law Offices is looking for a dedicated Paralegal/Legal Assistant to provide essential support to our attorneys. This full-time position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently. You will be a crucial part of our legal team, helping to manage cases from preparation through post-trial procedures. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and coordinate case files, including new case intake. * Prepare and draft legal motions and other documents. * Assist with the discovery review process. * Serve as a key point of contact for clients, experts, and other stakeholders. * Ensure confidential information is handled with discretion. Required Skills and Qualifications: * Case Management: Experience with case intake, file management, and discovery review software. * Legal Documentation: Strong ability to draft and file legal motions accurately. * Communication: Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. * Organization: Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. * Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. * Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues as they arise. * Confidentiality: Understanding and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Preferred, but Not Required: * Prior experience in a legal or office setting. * Paralegal certification. * Background in criminal justice. * Bilingual (Spanish/English).
