Sr. Sales Engineer

Are you a Mechanical Engineer that would enjoy an Inside Sales Career? Volt is hiring Inside Sales 1, II and a Sr. Sales Engineer in Denton, TX with an industry leader in their field. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering team to ensure the quality and functionality of designs meet both client and industry standards. Responsibilities Develop system layouts and configurations for UL508A control panels, UL891 switchboards, UL67 panelboards, ATSs, UPSs, MV Switchboards and pad mount transformers without engineering oversight. Lead the quoting process for large-scale or customized projects, confirming all requirements are met. Guide Sales Engineer I and II on best practices for quoting, documentation, and customer engagement. Serve as the key technical advisor for top-tier clients, and targeted high value clients handling complex specifications, troubleshooting, and negotiations. Provide in-depth product presentations, site visits, and solution recommendations to new or existing clients. Qualifications 5+ years in an application engineering or sales role, with a proven track record of quoting UL-listed electrical distribution products. In-depth knowledge of UL508A, UL891, UL67; strong design/build capabilities with minimal support. Exceptional thoroughness in quotes, proposals, and technical documentation. Skilled at training junior staff and guiding account strategies; ability to align with company’s revenue goals. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills; works effectively with executives and major clients. Compensation and Benefits Salary: $80-135K annually plus company's performance bonuses.
