Technical ArchitectWe are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect with deep expertise in non-functional requirements (NFRs) to define and drive architectural strategy across enterprise platforms. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of Engineering.Key responsibilities include:Define and enforce NFRs: performance, scalability, reliability, securityDesign scalable and resilient enterprise systemsLead architecture reviews and modernization initiativesDrive Microsoft ecosystem architecture (Azure, Fabric, Power BI, .NET)Lead performance testing and optimizationEstablish observability and reliability practicesCollaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teamsMentor architects and senior engineersRequired skills and experience include:8–12 years experience in software engineering/architectureStrong expertise in NFRsHands-on Microsoft stack (Azure, .NET, Fabric, Power BI)Experience with distributed systems and microservicesERP or enterprise product experience preferredPreferred qualifications include:Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)Data engineering and analytics exposureAI/ML familiaritySuccess metrics include:Improved performance and scalabilityReduced production incidentsAdoption of NFR standardsWhy VitalEdge:Be the architect behind next-gen platforms used globallyWork with passionate teams on cutting-edge technologiesCompetitive salary, remote flexibility, and strong growth pathA culture that prizes creativity, autonomy, and continuous improvementVitalEdge is an Equal Opportunity Employer
