RN – Supervisor
Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN Supervisor for a Travel assignment in Penn Yan, NY. This role involves overseeing nursing units in a long-term care environment, providing clinical supervision, and ensuring quality resident care. Key Responsibilities of the RN Supervisor:
- Oversee the operation of nursing units under the direction of the Director of Nursing – LTC.
- Provide clinical supervision to nursing staff and ensure quality resident care through teaching and supervision.
- Communicate with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers regarding unit issues and collaborate on solutions.
- Make administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and the Administrator – LTC during off-shift/weekends.
Requirements of the RN Supervisor:
- Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure
- Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1-year nursing experience in long-term care and supervisory experience across multiple units
- BLS certification required through AHA or RQI system
- CPI certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire
- Familiarity with NYSDOH requirements and exposure to bloodborne pathogens
