Supporting doctors and making a real difference in patient care. Assisting in advanced surgical procedures and learning new skills. Providing comfort and reassurance to patients during treatment. Growing your skills and taking on new challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Surgical Assistance: Greet, seat and prepare the patients for procedures. Take and document vital signs, medical histories, and give post-op instructions. Provide patient education and answer any questions with empathy and clarity. Radiology: Take digital radiographs including CBCT’s when needed. Instrument and Operatory Maintenance: Sterilize and organize instruments and supplies. Clean and reset rooms between patients. Team Support: Communication with the front office, billing, and other clinical staff for seamless patient flow. Support inventory management and ordering of clinical supplies. Compliance: Follow OSHA, CDC, and practice-specific infection control protocols at all times. Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required). Dental Assistant Certification or Oral Surgery Assistant training ( Preferred, but not required- training available). Experience: Prior dental, or surgical assisting experience preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate! Comfort with patient care, aseptic technique and EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
