Tax Terms: W2, 1099 Corp-Corp or 3rd Parties: YesJob DescriptionThe following are the summary of the job functions to be performed.Shall interface with Client engineering teams and client to understand the system software requirements and document the requirements in the Client specific project management tools.Shall analyze the requirements and design the software taking into consideration the existing reusable platform components within Client IT and Engineering teams.Shall develop scripts to configure the device network and securityShall develop Linux based native application software and device drivers.Shall perform software and system testing independently.Shall perform software configuration management and release independently.Shall perform field deployment and remote debugging for the client projects.Shall update the status of the project tasks in Jira and communicate the status diligently.SkillsEmbedded C, C++ Programming.Linux image building using YOCTO.Linux device administrationShell and Python scriptingLinux device driver programming.Network programming using TCP/IP, UDP sockets.Linux multi-threaded and multi-process programming.Native application development.Agile development methodologies and tools.QualificationBachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.8 + years of experience in Linux and Embedded Systems development.
