Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at Courtyard by Marriott- Coconut Grove. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture.
- Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as needed, ensuring an adequate supply for each room.
- Ensure that all rooms are stocked with the necessary amenities and supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor or management.
- Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, and other common areas of the hotel.
- Adhere to the hotel’s operational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide assistance to guests by responding promptly to requests for additional items or services.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members and other departments to uphold the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and service.
- Participate in special cleaning projects and tasks as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, as well as stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude toward guests and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
