Project Manager – Mission-Critical Data Center Construction Supported the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data center campus construction programs involving multiple data center buildings, electrical substations, and supporting infrastructure under aggressive schedules. Managed assigned buildings or project areas through all phases of construction, coordinating with owners, contractors, engineers, commissioning teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives. Location: On-Site, Campus-Based (Assigned Building / Area) South Dallas, TX must be within daily commuting distance. Required to be on-site. MUST LIVE NEAR A MAJOR AIRPORT IF NOT LOCAL AND RELOCATING TEMPORARILY Must have 2-4+ years of relevant data center experience Profile: Broad data center construction PM experience (civil, MEP, commissioning) with client-facing skills. - PM requires 4+ years of total relevant experience Key Responsibilities Managed day-to-day execution of assigned data center construction projects, including civil, structural, MEP, and commissioning activities. Coordinated project scope, schedule, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, action items, and project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle. Tracked construction progress against baseline schedules, proactively identifying risks, delays, and resource constraints while implementing corrective actions. Collaborated with project teams, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment across multiple concurrent buildings and shared infrastructure systems. Conducted regular site walks to monitor construction progress, quality, safety compliance, and contractor performance. Supported QA/QC inspections, commissioning activities, turnover documentation, and project closeout processes. Reviewed contractor reports, project schedules, pay applications, and supporting documentation to verify work completion and contractual compliance. Facilitated coordination meetings, daily huddles, and look-ahead planning sessions while documenting action items and driving issue resolution. Assisted with management of mission-critical MEP systems including electrical distribution, generators, UPS systems, cooling infrastructure, and building support systems. Prepared project status reports, executive updates, risk assessments, and progress presentations for internal leadership and client stakeholders. Utilized construction management platforms including Procore, scheduling tools, and project controls systems to maintain project visibility and accountability. Project Environment Large-scale hyperscale and enterprise data center campus developments. Multi-building construction programs with concurrent schedules and complex stakeholder coordination. Fast-track construction environments requiring strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
