Most patients are general medical/surgical but with specialty in post tumor surgical intervention. Very similar to typical surgical patient# of beds 21 Ratios 1:5 Required certifications BLS Common diagnoses/Types of patients Medical/Surgical, with specialty in post op cancer intervention (prostatectomy, mastectomy, etc) Experience or 'Must have' skills good communication, accurate documentation, timeliness, patient centered care Are RNs required to titrate drips yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips heparin, lidocaine, TPN gtt Charge Nurse/House Supervisor yes 

12 hour nights.
