Maintenance Position At Sunflower Bank, N.A.

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Maintenance in Salina, KS.

Company truck and tools provided.

Up to 50% travel across footprint required.

This position will be responsible for carpentry, basic electrical, plumbing, general maintenance, and overall support of our branches and departments. In this position, you will also assist in general maintenance on the bank's buildings and properties throughout the organization footprint. Occasional overnight travel will be necessary. If you have previous building and ground maintenance experience, have strong oral interpersonal skills and are able to work flexible hours, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on the company's buildings and properties.
• Light plumbing repairs.
• Carpentry work with drills and saws.
• Responsible for electrical including, remove and install various outlets and switches, ballasts, fix connectors, remove and install various light fixtures, use various gauges, replace circuit breaks, run wiring or cable.
• Responsible for drywall including, remove and replace gypsum board, cut for outlets, hang nails or screws, paper sand or wet sand, tape joints and flair flats and corners, cut and attach metal corners.
• Manage maintenance staff jobs and responsibilities.
• Perform parking lot and grounds maintenance, as required.
• Manage rental spaces and tenants.
• Performance snow and ice removal.
• Assist in stockroom or deliver supplies, as required.

Education / Experience Preferred:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous building and ground maintenance experience preferred.
• Must possess appropriate verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.

Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Employees in this role will spend significant time walking throughout the facility and may frequently stand, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch to perform maintenance and repair tasks. Climbing ladders, working at heights, and balancing are occasionally required. The position involves regular use of hands and arms to operate tools, equipment, and machinery. Employees must frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally handle heavier loads with assistance. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus for detailed work and safety awareness.
