Job Title: Nurse Manager II Profession: Client Child Health (MCH) Specialty: Labor & Delivery (LD) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Experience: 1 year recent full-time equivalent experience License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: ACLS Description: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. 1 year of recent experience within the last 3 years in a hospital or clinical setting. Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field is preferred. Five or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred. One year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years is preferred. High Risk OB experience is preferred. Key skills include the ability to lead and manage nursing staff effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for teamwork and patient care. Comprehensive understanding of labor and delivery protocols and procedures is required. Demonstrated ability to respond to emergencies and provide critical care in high-pressure situations is necessary.
