Foundry Sales Engineer

Job Description

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new customers in target markets, with a focus on long-term, profitable accounts
Research and qualify prospects, build relationships, and support buyers with technical guidance
Visit customers onsite and stay in regular contact with active accounts and prospects
Keep customers informed on quotes, lead times, deliveries, quality, and tooling
Track market and competitor trends and share insights with the team
Keep the CRM current

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

Engineering or metallurgy degree, technical diploma, or equivalent hands-on experience
5+ years in foundry sales, sales engineering, or casting engineering
Experience with no-bake and green sand iron casting processes
The ability to translate customer requirements into workable casting solutions
A hunter mindset with a record of winning new business
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Office-based with travel to customer sites
Must live near a major airport
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
