Mechanical Equipment TechnicianPace is seeking candidates with a strong mechanical background to be able to install, maintain, and repair Industrial equipment and field fabricate as needed.Job Responsibilities:Perform duties as assigned.Installations, alignment, adjustments to industrial equipment.Work closely with Foreman and team members to ensure construction projects are completed to specifications and in a timely manner.Carry out construction projects, which may require the operation of a variety of hand and power tools.Maintain a clean job site, pick up all tools and equipment, and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.Unload and load construction materials.Must be flexible and willing to learn and use new skills quickly.Education and Experience:Previous experience in construction work or equivalent experience preferred.Strong mechanical background.Demonstrated hands-on experience in at least two of the key skill areas listed below.Relevant certifications such as AWS, NCCER or equivalent are preferred.Understanding of mechanical systems, blueprints, and safety standards (e.g. OSHA regulations).Familiarity with tools and machinery used in welding, pipe fitting, and metal fabrication.Skills and Abilities:Ability to weld, stick and wire feed welder, certification not required but preferred.
