Manufacturing Technician

Purification TechnicianEurofins Genomics is looking for a DNA Purification Technician I/II to join our oligonucleotide manufacturing team in Louisville, KY, which operates around the clock. You'll be assigned to one shift as your regular, ongoing schedule — no rotating shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting purification and post-purification workflows.This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to develop technical laboratory skills. We're looking for someone who is organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced production environment, while also being a great team player. Duties and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs and manager discretion; any additional tasks may be assigned as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct post-synthesis processing, including cleavage, deprotection, drying, and formulation of oligonucleotide products.Perform oligonucleotide purification processes including HPLC purification, PAGE, desalting, and other purification techniques.Adhere to purification and post-purification processes according to approved work instructions.Prepare buffers and laboratory solutions.Complete batch records and production documentation accurately.Use our proprietary LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) for daily work, order tracking, and documentationOperate, monitor, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and production equipment.Troubleshoot minor process and equipment issues and escalate concerns when necessary.Maintain an organized, clean, and 5S-compliant workspace.Follow all safety and regulatory requirements, including proper PPE and hazardous materials handlingDemonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and dependable attendanceComplete required training programs, including annual RCRA awareness trainingTake on additional duties and tasks as assigned based on business needsRequirementsAssociate or bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field; or equivalent directly related experience.Ability to perform under pressure of a fast paced production environment.Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.Ability to follow detailed written procedures and accurately complete documentation.Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel)Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to lift 35+ pounds and stand for extended periods.PreferredExperience in an ISO-13485 or cGMP environmentExperience using LIMS or similar laboratory data systemBasic understanding of laboratory equipment and scientific principles.Familiarity with HPLC, LC-MS, UV spectroscopy, or related analytical methods.Experience with oligonucleotide synthesis, purification, or molecular biology techniques.Experience handling hazardous chemicalsScheduleRegular: Mon - Fri 7:00-15:30 / Mon - Fri 15:00-23:30 / Mon - Fri 23:00-7:30Training: Mon - Fri 8:00 - 16:30What we offerExcellent full time benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision optionsLife and disability insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysEurofins USA Genomic Services is a Disabled and Veteran Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
