Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a free-standing ED environment, fulfilling both RN and respiratory therapy/pharmacy support roles in the absence of on-site RT and pharmacy staff
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including Procedure Sedation, Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI), cardioversion/defibrillation, and breathing treatments
• Manage vascular access devices including Port-A-Cath, PICC lines, Triple Lumen Catheters, and Rapid Infusers
• Provide care for a patient population that includes approximately 15% pediatric patients
• Manage drains, syringe pumps, and feeding tubes as required by patient acuity
• Deliver tracheostomy care as needed within a 24-bed emergency department setting

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license; compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with tracheostomy care, cardioversion/defibrillation, and breathing treatments
• Proficiency with PICC lines, feeding tube management, Port-A-Cath/vascular device access, and rapid infusers
• Ability to fulfill expanded clinical responsibilities including respiratory therapy and pharmacy support functions in a free-standing ED

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a free-standing or independent emergency department setting
• Familiarity with pediatric emergency care
