About This Position Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm ***This position is located within a jail/correctional facility and would be working around inmates. The Commissary Representative Floater will assist in providing commissary operations and services to assigned location within a 90 mile radius of home unit. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities Deliver product to canteens at specified correctional facilities with the supervision of a correctional officer in a timely and efficient manner following all rules and regulations Assist onsite manager with completion of monthly canteen inventories Maintain all areas/equipment/products in a neat, clean, and orderly manner and maintain American Correctional Association & American Jail Association standards/guidelines when applicable. Attend orientation and training, annual on-site security classes and remain current in certifications as required by the Facility. Will work at several locations within a 90-mile radius of home unit, as assigned by District Manager Follow all the policies and procedures Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace Other duties as determined by the needs of the business Must be able to operate your own vehicle and drive within a 90 mile radius. Pay: Weekly pay, Thursdays Hourly pay plus $.76 per mile What You'll Need High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be a self-starter who can work well with people in a correctional facility in a professional, upbeat manner. Must be well organized. Must be able to multi-task and be a team player. Reliable transportation – will need to travel within a 90 mile radius. Ability to work in a correctional environment. Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.
