A Critical Access Hospital in Dyersville, Iowa is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for locum coverage. This opportunity offers a low patient volume environment with strong nursing and ancillary support while providing both emergency and limited inpatient care.

Practice Highlights:

• Critical Access Hospital with a 3-bed Emergency Department
• Average 4 ED patients per day
• Average inpatient census of 4 patients (obs, acute, swingbed)
• 20 inpatient beds with full outpatient services
• 4 Advanced Practice Providers on staff
• 2 RNs and 1 CNA supporting the provider
• EMR: TogetherCare (EPIC)

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified (ABEM) or FP/IM with recent Emergency Medicine experience
• Active Iowa license required
• Clean malpractice and background history
• NPDB Self-Query (within the same month) required at submission
• Must list available coverage dates at time of name clear

Schedule & Coverage:

• 24-hour shifts (7 AM 7 AM)
• Minimum 3 shifts per pay period
• In-house coverage with provider sleep room available
