Physician Medical Director DME - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Physician Medical Director DME - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will provide physician leadership for clinical coverage reviews tied to member benefits and policy interpretation in a remote healthcare environment. The position partners closely with internal teams and requesting providers to support accurate, evidence-based benefit determinations. It also requires strong clinical judgment, clear documentation, and participation in peer-to-peer discussions and call coverage as needed. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $238,000 – $357,500 annually Responsibilities Conduct coverage reviews based on member plan benefits and coverage policies Document clinical review findings and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements Engage in peer-to-peer discussions with requesting providers Interpret benefit language during clinical coverage reviews Participate in daily clinical rounds as neededCollaborate with providers to support accurate benefit determinations Communicate with internal partners and participate in call coverage rotation Qualifications M.D. or D.O. degree required Active unrestricted medical license Board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine 5+ years of clinical practice experience post-residency Strong understanding of Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel Benefits Comprehensive benefits package Incentive and recognition programs Equity stock purchase options 401k contribution Remote work flexibility with specific location requirements Our client is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ladders
