Medical Director, Clinical Trial Physician - Neurology (Remote) - FSP

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Medical Director/Clinical Trial Physician in neurology to lead clinical trial teams for a biotech client focused on autoimmune disease treatments. The remote, fully-benefit-eligible role involves medical oversight of study protocols, real-time monitoring, regulatory interactions, and cross-functional collaboration across international sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership to study teams and create clinical trial protocols incorporating latest scientific information
• Monitor clinical studies in real-time to ensure endpoint validity and subject safety with early issue identification
• Interpret clinical trial data for regulatory submissions, manuscripts, and publications in consultation with indication leads
• Serve as medical contact for investigators, IRBs, health authorities, and executive committees; conduct site staff training
• Ensure study compliance with relevant SOPs and GCP; collaborate cross-functionally to communicate medical risks and results

Requirements

• MD or equivalent degree with board certification preferred
• Neurology specialty training with patient treatment and/or research experience
• 1-3 years industry experience in clinical development at pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO organization
• Pediatric neurology or neuromuscular disease expertise highly preferred
• Fluent English written and spoken; NDA submission and adverse event reporting knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to lead diverse teams globally
• Ability to work US/Canada without sponsorship; pass background check and drug screening
