Medical Director/Clinical Trial Physician(Rheumatology) - FSP

Medical Director/Clinical Trial Physician position focused on rheumatology clinical trials for a global biotech company. The role involves medical leadership of study teams, real-time monitoring of clinical data, regulatory document interpretation, and stakeholder engagement across international research sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership to study teams including protocol development, site selection, and document review
• Conduct real-time medical monitoring of trials to ensure endpoint validity and subject safety
• Interpret clinical trial data for regulatory submissions, manuscripts, and publications
• Serve as medical contact for investigators, IRBs, health authorities, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure medical compliance across all study aspects through SOP and GCP application

Requirements

• Medical Doctor degree with board certification preferred
• Rheumatology specialty training with patient treatment or research experience
• 1-3 years industry experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO clinical development
• Fluent English written and spoken communication skills
• Understanding of NDA submission processes and regulatory adverse event reporting
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership abilities with cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proactive problem-solving and negotiation skills in global environments
