OTOLARYNGOLOGY NURSE PRACTITIONER/PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT - TURLOCK, CA

Start Date: 08/05/2026

End Date: 08/10/2026

Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm

Hours per Week: 32 hours

Employment Type: Travel/Contract

License/Certifications: Active CA license, ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS required

Experience: Certified providers with at least 50 case logs in the past 24 months

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $1.00 (payment discussions upon application)

Pay Schedule: Weekly via direct deposit

What You'll Do

• Provide ENT specialized care for adult patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Participate in weekend call duties, responding within 15-20 minutes for assigned or unassigned cases
• Collaborate with support staff including nurses, MAs, PAs, and office staff
• Assist with patient evaluations, charting, and documentation using Athena or Cerner EMR systems
• Contribute to admissions and rounding as needed in a facility accredited for stroke and trauma care
• Work full schedule during assigned dates without partial days

What You Need

• Valid California license (or eligible via IMLC, not considered)
• Certified in ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• Minimum of 50 case logs in ENT (past 24 months)
• At least 2 years of relevant provider experience in ENT settings
• Ability to work scheduled full days in a fast-paced, inpatient/outpatient environment

About the Assignment This assignment is at a leading hospital in Turlock, California, with 209 beds, equipped for inpatient admissions, and maintaining stroke and trauma certifications. The role involves both outpatient clinics and inpatient rounding, providing comprehensive ENT specialty care for adult patients. Credentialing takes approximately 4-6 months, with temporary privileges available.
