Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $2,511 per week

Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Jun 29, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position requiring 2+ years of experience, Epic proficiency, and availability for a 5x8-hour day shift schedule including Saturdays. Details Outpatient PT setting covering orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric patient populations Scheduled 10-12 patients per day, with typically 8-11 seen Appointments are 30 or 45 minutes in duration, with 1-3 evals and the remainder follow-up visits Day shift schedule, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM, 5x8-hour shifts Clinic is open Monday through Saturday Epic EMR required All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state Requirements Minimum 2 years of outpatient PT experience required Active PT license required if applicable Current BLS certification required Epic EMR experience required Spanish speaking preferred At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Responsibilities Evaluation and treatment of outpatient orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric patients Floating between facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment Former permanent staff at this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility if they were previously permanent staff there Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem/registry should be prepared to disclose the location and dates of that employment Benefits American Traveler offers exceptional benefits, including premium medical, dental, vision and life insurance beginning day one of your assignment, generous 401(k) match, substantial housing stipends, and more.
