Physical Therapist | Full-Time Outpatient Clinic Opening

The Role

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Grain Valley, MO . This role is responsible for providing evaluation, treatment planning, therapy services, patient education, and documentation for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.

The clinic serves patients ages 11 to 90 and offers a varied outpatient caseload. The team includes 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants, allowing for regular communication and coordinated care throughout the patient experience.

Location and Setting

Employment Type: Full-Time
Clinic Setting: Modern Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic
Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
EMR System: WebPT

Compensation

• New graduates: $65,000–$70,000 per year
• Experienced Physical Therapists: $80,000–$90,000 per year , based on years of experience

Work Schedule Options

The clinic would strongly prefer one of the following schedules:

Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Tuesday off each week

Option 2: Monday–Friday

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Clinic Details

• Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
• Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
• Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
• Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
• Insurance Plans Accepted: Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, TRICARE, Humana, and Aetna

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and reassessments
• Create individualized plans of care based on diagnosis, physical function, and patient goals
• Treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions through appropriate PT interventions
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance work, mobility training, and functional activities
• Educate patients on home programs, recovery expectations, and safe return to activity
• Review patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation through WebPT
• Collaborate with PTAs, providers, and clinical staff to support continuity of care

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Missouri licensure
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work professionally with patients across a broad age range
