About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Commercial Sales to take on a pivotal role in driving the end-to-end performance of its high-velocity acquisition engine. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the commercial revenue strategy, scaling a sales organization, and building a leadership bench to meet ambitious ARR targets. This role demands a leader who can design and implement repeatable, high-velocity sales processes, and territory coverage models, and ensure forecast accuracy through disciplined CRM practices. The VP will also be expected to partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams, and lead the adoption of sales technology and RevOps infrastructure to enhance rep productivity. A strong focus on AI is a must, as the company expects its team members to actively use AI to improve sales outcomes. Applicants for the VP of Commercial Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-velocity B2B SaaS sales motions, particularly in commercial segments, and experience in a remote or hybrid global environment. Clear executive communication, the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders, and a demonstrated use of AI to enhance sales outcomes are essential. A background in consumption-based selling or revenue model experience, as well as sales experience in the nonprofit, faith-based, nonprofit technology, or fintech space, is highly valued. The role requires a leader who is system-oriented, values forecasting and pipeline hygiene, and is adept at coaching managers to drive team performance.
