Payroll Associate

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Payroll Associate for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 6 month contract opportunity requiring 4 days per week on-site. Pay- $43.35 per hour. This role involves assisting with payroll processing for the US, including semi-monthly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls, as well as variable compensation, stock transactions, and deferred compensation. The associate will perform calculations, complete tax reporting, and ensure compliance with state and national regulations. The position also includes participating in special projects and handling payroll reconciliations. Responsibilities: Assist with the performance of calculations for internal and/or external clients Complete tax reporting or other regulatory filing requirements to ensure compliance Assist with the implementation of client plans for the tax and/or regulatory cycle and ensure deadlines are met Gather data and documentation to complete standard filings Determine liabilities, withholdings, and other calculations Answer routine questions from clients regarding earnings, deductions, and tax calculations Contribute to the processing of semi-monthly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls Assist with payroll reconciliations and participate in special projects Requirements: 5-7 years of total work experience Degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred Desired skills: US Payroll processing, tax reporting, and analysis experience Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
