About the Role:

As an Infection Control Preventionist at Valley View Care Center, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents and staff. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting daily rounds to identify and address areas of concern

• Developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures

• Providing education and training to staff on infection control practices

• Identifying and reporting potential risks and areas for improvement

• Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure proper infection control practices are followed

• Monitoring and reporting infection rates and trends

• Maintaining accurate records and reports

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience as an Infection Control Preventionist

• LVN/LPN or RN Licensed

• Strong knowledge of infection control principles and practices

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Completion of a certified infection control program and certification as an Infection Control Preventionist (CIC) or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe
