About the Role We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect who brings strong systems thinking, product‑minded judgment, and technical leadership. You will help us balance user needs, scalability, and delivery speed while working in an environment that may be ambiguous and fast‑moving. This is a hybrid role based in New York, NY10040, with onsite work required three days per week. The compensation range is $100,000 to $135,000 per year. Responsibilities Own the end‑to‑end technical direction and system design of Salesforce solutions. Turn ambiguous business objectives into clear, scalable technical approaches. Work closely with product and business stakeholders to shape requirements and solution direction. Lead and mentor offshore and distributed Salesforce developers. Define and uphold technical standards, code quality, and architectural consistency. Review designs and implementations with a focus on long‑term maintainability and system health. Identify risks early and help drive practical mitigation plans. Stay hands‑on when needed to remove blockers or validate patterns. Requirements Must have Substantial experience designing and delivering Salesforce solutions at scale. Proven ability to own Salesforce system architecture, not only feature‑level delivery. Experience leading offshore and distributed development teams. Ability to evaluate trade‑offs across performance, scalability, usability, and speed to market. Comfortable working with incomplete or changing requirements. Strong, concise communication with both technical and non‑technical audiences. Product‑minded approach focused on user outcomes and system impact. Independent, self‑directed, and comfortable making decisions. Experience as an independent consultant or technical lead is preferred. Pragmatic architectural approach, including knowing when to go deep and when to keep things simple. Salesforce certifications such as Platform DeveloperI, Platform DeveloperII, and Architecture certifications are preferred.
