We also continue to maintain a strong commitment to the healthcare needs of Nashville's and Davidson County's underserved, while also providing care to all segments of the community.ResponsibilitiesPatient Care: Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care including routine and high-risk pregnancies, preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and management of various conditions related to women's health.Clinical Duties: Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, perform surgeries, and provide prenatal and postnatal care.Patient Education: Educate patients on preventive care, family planning, contraceptive options, and overall reproductive health.Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and specialists, to deliver coordinated care.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.Emergency Care: Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care when necessary.Continuing Education: Stay current with advances in the field of obstetrics and gynecology through ongoing education and training.QualificationsMedical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.Board Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.Licensure: Able to obtain a valid and active medical license in Tennessee upon offer.Experience: Previous experience in an OB/GYN setting preferred, but new graduates will also be considered.Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Compassion: A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care with a commitment to improving women's health.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits packageHealth, dental, and vision insuranceMetro Health Incentive Program - Access to high quality healthcare without incurring out-of-pocket expensesPaid time off and continuing education opportunities12 paid holidaysSupportive and collaborative work environment
