In this hands-on position, you will play a critical role in strengthening our BC/DR capabilities—contributing to disaster recovery planning, testing, backup operations, and data protection to ensure our technology infrastructure remains resilient and recoverable.Beyond supporting our business continuity efforts, you will actively administer and optimize a diverse enterprise environment spanning Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, cloud services, and storage. Follow and support established policies and procedures and participate in semiannual disaster recovery testing to validate data replication, redundancy, and archiving controlsSupport backup and recovery strategies that promote data integrity and business continuity. Help implement and maintain the infrastructure required for on-site and off-site backups, data archiving, redundancy, and tape storage, and participate in restoration efforts for enterprise servers, networks, and applications during service disruptionsPerform and help evaluate disaster recovery simulations regularly to identify gaps, validate replication and archiving processes, and support the timely restoration of critical servicesSupport the maintenance of servers, networks, and databases to ensure resilience and continuity during disruptionsServe as a key member of the primary IT disaster recovery team and execute recovery procedures to restore systems and services as quickly and effectively as possible during business disruptionsSupport the implementation of enterprise-grade security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and data encryption, while ensuring alignment with organizational security policies and compliance requirementsCybersecurity Planning and OperationsPartner with the cybersecurity team to secure the organization's IT infrastructure, enforce security policies, manage network security and access controls, and support vulnerability management and incident response activitiesContinuously monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity, vulnerabilities, and performance issuesAnalyze, respond to, and help remediate cybersecurity incidents and attacksDesign, implement, and maintain firewalls and network architecture;
