Billing Specialist (Client Accounts)

Job Description Job Description Beagle is hiring a Billing Specialist to own billing accuracy and the client experience behind it. You'll be the go-to person making sure every property manager on our platform gets clear, correct, and on-time billing — and you'll have a direct hand in improving the systems and processes that make that happen. This is a high-ownership role at a fast-growing insurance startup, ideal for someone detail-obsessed who likes turning messy processes into clean, repeatable ones. New grads are welcome to apply. What You'll Do Billing & client support Serve as the primary billing contact for property managers, resolving questions and requests quickly and clearly. Update our Insurance Operating System (IOS) to reflect client changes and keep accounts current. Accuracy & revenue Maintain accurate billing structures across the IOS and protect data integrity. Identify revenue-flow improvements and partner with engineering to ship them. Build dashboards that give leadership clear visibility into billing performance. Process & enablement Create training videos and tools that improve the client billing experience. Write playbooks for billing support, validation, and troubleshooting. Standardize processes to prevent workflow breakdowns. What We're Looking For Sharp attention to detail and a strong instinct for data integrity. Ability to explain technical and billing issues clearly to non-technical people. Proactive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership. Thrives in a fast-paced, in-person startup environment (on-site 5 days/week in Dallas, TX). New grads welcome; coursework or internship experience in finance, accounting, operations, or customer support is a plus. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Compensation & Growth $65,000–$75,000 base salary, depending on experience. Performance bonuses tied to billing accuracy, CSAT/NPS, and revenue KPIs.
