Why Experienced Inspectors Join Us Company vehicle provided Certification support and career development Opportunity to work on major NCDOT transportation projects Clear advancement path into Project Manager and leadership roles Stable, long-term workload with a growing company Team-oriented culture that values professional development What You'll Do Perform construction inspections on roadway, highway, and transportation projects Monitor contractor work to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications Conduct asphalt, concrete, and density testing Complete daily reports, documentation, and project records Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders Observe construction activities and identify quality concerns Promote safety and quality standards on active job sites Travel to project locations throughout North Carolina as needed What We're Looking For 1-3 years of construction inspection, materials testing, engineering technician, or related field experience Experience working on roadway, highway, civil, or transportation projects preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work outdoors and remain active in field environments Desire to develop technical expertise and grow within the transportation industry Preferred Qualifications NCDOT QMS Roadway Certification NCDOT Density Gauge Certification NCDOT Conventional Density Certification Asphalt, concrete, or earthwork inspection experience Construction Materials Testing (CMT) experience Familiarity with NCDOT standards and specifications Build More Than Roads.
