Thermoforming Technician

We are seeking an experienced Thermoforming Technician to support day-to-day thermoforming operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on thermoforming experience and be comfortable with machine setup, mold and trim changes, process adjustments, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain thermoforming machines for daily production.
• Perform mold and trim setup/changeovers as required.
• Adjust machine programs, settings, temperatures, speeds, and other process parameters as needed to maintain production and product quality.
• Load and unload materials to and from thermoforming equipment.
• Monitor the thermoforming process and identify product defects or process issues.
• Troubleshoot defects and make appropriate machine or process adjustments to correct problems.
• Maintain appropriate machine speeds and production efficiency while meeting quality requirements.
• Minimize scrap through proper machine setup, process control, and troubleshooting.
• Follow established work instructions, safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and improve overall production efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on thermoforming experience required.
• Experience setting up and operating thermoforming equipment.
• Experience with mold and trim setup/changeovers.
• Ability to adjust machine settings and process parameters.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and correct product defects.
• Understanding of production efficiency, scrap reduction, and quality standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow work instructions and work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Candidates must have direct thermoforming experience to be considered.
