• 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Quality Specialist to join a leading aerospace distribution center in Hialeah, FL. This is a great opportunity to work in a climate-controlled facility supporting the inspection and quality assurance of aerospace components for OEMs, MROs, and airline customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality audits, inspections, and surveillance activities.
• Inspect incoming materials and outgoing products for compliance.
• Review certifications, traceability records, and airworthiness documentation.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Identify and document non-conforming products and support corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and company quality standards.
• Mentor team members and support continuous quality improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Aerospace or aviation industry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, pin gauges, micrometers, comparators, and Smart Scope systems.
• Knowledge of Certificates of Conformance, FAA traceability, and airworthiness documentation.
• 2+ years of aerospace inspection or quality assurance experience preferred.
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hialeah, FL.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
