Job Description\n Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Park Ridge, Illinois.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 12 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2196\n $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS\n \n Opportunity:\n RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse\n Job Details:\n • Must be able to travel to both campuses in Oak Lawn and Park Ridge\n • Assignments are posted 90 to 120 minutes prior to shift start\n • Minimum of 1.5 years of experience required\n • First-time travelers are accepted\n • Patient types include premature infants, unstable newborns requiring medical care, and surgical patients\n • Patient ratio is 1:2 with no CNAs on the unit\n • Required certifications: BLS and NRP\n • Required skills include SERVO and HFOV vents, tracheostomy care, chest tubes, and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)\n • Must be proficient with umbilical and arterial lines and drips\n • Must be proficient with NG tubes, G-tubes, and enteral feeds\n • Charting systems used: EPIC, Pyxis, Alaris, and Phillips monitor\n • Support on unit includes a free-floating charge nurse, respiratory therapy available 24/7, and neonatologist available 24/7\n • Bedside monitoring with nurses station, no tele tech\n • Each patient has their own stethoscope for infection prevention\n • Potential to float to pediatric inpatient unit only if assignment is NICU appropriate\n • Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend\n • No on-call requirements\n • Time off requests go through manager for approval\n • Scrubs are provided on the unit for infection prevention\n • Free parking available\n Facility:\n This facility is a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma and Teaching Hospital with 180 beds. It houses a Level III NICU with 54 beds, providing advanced care for the most critically ill and premature newborns.
