How you’ll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: Accurately perform patient assessments and identify individual care needs. Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions. Deliver care appropriate to the condition and age of each patient. Document medical necessity and nursing activities in a timely and accurate manner. Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for assigned patients. Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional requirements include: Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program. Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred. BCLS required. CPR/BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred. CRRN preferred. Valley View Medical Center 102,000-square-foot acute-care facility with two adjacent medical office buildings offering exceptional care to community. We have 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an 8 bed labor, delivery and post-partum unit, 16 Bed Emergency Department and Valley View Medical Center is the only all private bed hospital serving the Bullhead City/Laughlin/Needles area.
