Walter’s Automotive Group is looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing Department in Riverside. This is a full-time, entry-level position ideal for someone looking to grow their experience in digital marketing, social media, events, and automotive marketing.

The Marketing Assistant will support day-to-day marketing efforts across our automotive brands and work closely with the Marketing Director, dealership managers, and outside vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating, scheduling, and posting content across social media platforms
• Help coordinate and execute dealership events and promotional activities
• Make routine website updates, including updating specials, banners, and other content
• Coordinate with dealership managers to gather current promotions, offers, and marketing needs
• Update and maintain service specials across dealership websites and marketing channels
• Assist with email marketing campaigns
• Help organize marketing assets, photos, videos, and creative materials
• Coordinate with photographers, videographers, agencies, and other marketing vendors
• Assist with reviewing dealership websites and third-party listings for accuracy
• Support digital advertising and marketing campaigns
• Help ensure marketing materials follow brand and dealership guidelines
• Assist with additional marketing projects and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Comfortable working with different departments and dealership managers
• Basic knowledge of Canva, social media content creation, or digital marketing is a plus
• Automotive dealership experience is not required, but is a plus
• Must be dependable, proactive, and willing to learn
