We are hiring immediately for a full time Marketing Assistant position. Address: 5500 University Parkway, San Bernardino, CA 92407. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. Some weekends. More details upon interview. Requirement: At least 2+ year's of prior experience in marketing. Proficient in MS Office: experience with Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and CMS systems a plus. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with field managers. Hands-on support at events, unit set up, program implementation. Coordinates content needed for marketing initiatives. Multi-task in deadline-driven team environment, adjust to changing priorities. Pay Range: $20.00 per hour to $24.00 per hour.

Job Summary

As a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the operation with marketing, merchandising, and promotions to ensure superior service and maximize profits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Assisting in all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities. Analyzing customer/resident research, current market conditions and competitor information. Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans and projects for new and existing accounts. Expanding and developing marketing platforms. Managing the productivity of the marketing plans and projects. Monitoring, reviewing and reporting on all marketing activity and results. Delivering marketing activity within agreed budget. Reporting on return on investment and key performance metrics. Creating marketing presentations. Monitoring industry best practices and trends. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include: 1 year of marketing experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to present to large groups. Knowledge of merchandising and promotions. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet. A bachelor's Degree in Marketing is preferred.
