What Will You Do? Responsible for entire repairs facility operations including P&L and budget Manage customer quotes for rehabs/refurbs on all equipment Facilitate customer communication externally and tackle any problems that arise Conduct weekly Facility Manager meetings Engage in regular workforce planning discussions Develop and implement daily and weekly work plans and schedules for the site Train, inform, and orient employees to company procedures, processes, and objectives, emphasizing quality and safety standards Interface with other Chart sites to drive consistency in products and services across the repair organization Continuously evaluate workflow and processes and implement more efficient procedures to minimize costs Complete objective performance appraisals quarterly and review outcomes with employees Update the VP weekly on progress of production plans and schedules Responsible for creating a monthly performance report and delivering it to the business unit VP Directly interface with customers and provide them with current information regarding their equipment, quotations, and schedules Ownership of facility appearance, maintenance, and environmental compliance Your Physical Work Environment Will Require Sitting and standing frequently Lifting up to 50 pounds Infrequent domestic travel to other Chart repair facilities or to visit customers Your Experience Should Be Eight or more years of management or shop‑floor supervisory experience in manufacturing Previous experience with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles including lead time reduction, Kanban, continuous process improvement, and visual control Your Education Should Be Business or Technical bachelor’s degree or substantial experience in a shop‑floor supervisory capacity Our Benefits Package Medical, dental, and vision insurance Employer contributions to an HSA account Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Company‑paid short‑term and long‑term disability coverage Basic life insurance with the option to purchase supplemental individual, spouse, and dependent child coverage 401(k) retirement savings plan including a company match Chart Industries is an equal employment opportunity (EEO) employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicant because of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, military status, marital status, genetic information, or any other reason prohibited by law.
