Preferred experience in neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, orthopedics, transplant, and gynecology

Description: The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for sterilizing medical instruments. They will decontaminate, assemble, and wrap surgical instruments to ensure they are sterile for surgical procedures. The position requires floating within scope to meet facility needs. The technician may need to float or be switched permanently to different campuses as required. Experience in sterilization and decontamination is crucial, along with the ability to handle various types of cases. The ideal candidate will have experience with biological and chemical indicators, and high-level disinfection. Attention to detail is essential in assembling instrument sets and trays. The technician must ensure proper selection of wrapping materials and monitor sterilization processes. Candidates with experience in robotics and various surgical specialties, including transplant and urology, are encouraged to apply. This position does not require BLS certification.
