An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated BCBA to serve as a steady and expert presence in an ASD classroom for elementary-aged students. This is a contract role providing in-person support to a single school site, working alongside an experienced, caring team of paraprofessionals. Your expertise will help create continuity and foster student growth in a classroom where consistency is much needed. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the academic year, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.

Key Qualifications:

• Active BCBA certification required
• Previous experience in schools, particularly in ASD or special education classrooms, strongly preferred
• Skilled in implementing behavior supports, co-regulation strategies, and direct interventions
• Compassionate, flexible approach and excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to mentor and train support staff or paraprofessionals
• Must be comfortable assisting with physical needs, including diapering and physical support

Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead behavior analyst and classroom manager for a classroom of students (grades 1–5) with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Collaborate with a supportive paraprofessional team, providing modeling and mentorship
• Ensure a positive, consistent learning environment and implement behavior intervention strategies
• Guide and coach a paraprofessional working toward alternative licensure, helping her develop instructional and classroom management skills
• Complete necessary district credentialing, including background check and fingerprint clearance
