Make a significant impact supporting students in a dedicated ASD classroom at an elementary school near Denver, CO. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as a stabilizing presence through the end of the school year, working with a group of wonderful yet sometimes challenging students (grades 1-5). You’ll provide essential leadership and behavioral support in a setting that values collaboration and professional growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Active BCBA Certification required
• Previous experience working in school or clinical settings with students on the autism spectrum
• Strong skills in positive behavior intervention, co-regulation, and supporting students with varying needs, including some physical and self-care assistance
• Capacity to collaborate with and mentor paraprofessionals, supporting their development
• Able to complete district-required background check and fingerprinting
• Demonstrated problem-solving, patience, and adaptability in dynamic environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary lead in a classroom for students with ASD, ensuring consistency, structure, and a supportive environment
• Implement and oversee behavioral support strategies, including co-regulation and physical support as needed
• Mentor and provide on-the-job guidance to an aspiring paraprofessional, helping to develop instructional skills and progress toward licensure
• Work alongside an experienced team of paraprofessionals committed to student success
• Maintain data on student progress and collaborate with support staff and families
