Step into a rewarding contract opportunity shaping the lives of elementary students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a supportive school setting near Englewood, CO. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through late May, you’ll provide expertise and stability for an ASD classroom serving older elementary students (primarily grades 1-5). The position is full-time at 37.5 hours per week and based at a single campus, allowing for meaningful engagement with your students and team.

You will collaborate closely with a dedicated group of experienced paraprofessionals who have supported the classroom for years, as well as assist in mentoring a motivated paraprofessional interested in further licensure. The current classroom dynamic calls for compassionate leadership, consistency, and strong behavior supports—making this a fulfilling placement for a skilled BCBA looking to make a difference.

Qualifications:

• Active BCBA certification required
• Experience working with students with autism, preferably in a classroom environment
• Strong ability to implement behavior support plans and provide physical and co-regulatory support as needed
• Passion for mentoring staff and training team members
• Willingness to support diapering and physical assistance for students
• Ability to pass a district background check and fingerprinting

Responsibilities:

• Oversee one ASD classroom, serving approximately ten students
• Develop and implement individualized behavioral strategies
• Mentor and train paraprofessionals, fostering growth in aspiring educators
• Promote classroom consistency, co-regulation, and a positive learning atmosphere
• Provide hands-on behavioral support
