Step into a vital role supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in an engaging elementary school environment near Englewood, CO. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) seeking to make an impactful difference by bringing stability and expertise to a classroom in need of consistent leadership.

As the sole BCBA, you will primarily serve a classroom of 10 students ranging from 1st to 5th grade, with a focus on older elementary-aged learners. The position requires thoughtful behavioral support, including co-regulation strategies and implementing individualized interventions. You’ll collaborate closely with a strong team of experienced paraprofessionals, as well as mentor an aspiring special education teacher eager to learn under your guidance. Some physical support and diapering may be necessary for certain students.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active BCBA certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students diagnosed with ASD
• Skillful in behavioral assessment, intervention design, and progress monitoring
• Strong ability to coach, mentor, and collaborate with educational support staff
• Comfort with providing physical assistance including diapering, as needed
• Dedication to fostering consistency and stability for students and team members
• Successful completion of required background check and fingerprinting for district credentialing

Responsibilities:

• Lead a classroom for students with ASD, focusing on older elementary grades
• Develop and oversee implementation of behavioral interventions
• Provide daily mentorship to paraprofessionals, supporting their professional growth
• Deliver hands-on behavioral support (including co-regulation and physical assistance)
• Ensure a safe, positive, and structured learning environment
• Communicate regularly with school staff and families
