Full Time Nanny

Full Time live-out Nanny required for a happy and friendly Brooklyn Heights family with their infant daughter (b.Aug 2026), starting October 2026. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing + proactive care and interacting with their daughter in an engaging, loving and age-appropriate way. To be successful, you will need to be experienced with infant care, have attention to detail and look to partner with parents who value open dialogue and good communication. A safety-conscious candidate who can incorporate up to date best practices into childcare and provide long term support to first-time parents would be a great match for this family! A warm, hands on and engaging nanny with education or equivalent practical knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development is key to this role. Both parents work from home different days of the week - a candidate who is organized, independent and professional is a must! The ideal candidate is able to complete light, child related housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc) and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state. Location: Brooklyn Heights, BK, NY Start date: October 2026 (Mom returns to work in November). Days/times: Monday to Friday: guaranteed 40 hours a week with general hours expected to land between 8am - 5pm (exact schedule to be discussed with the family, some shorter/longer days depending on the family's work schedules). Likely weekly rhythm is between 40-50 hours per week for initial 3-6 months. Flexibility as needed for additional hours is required. Ability to travel and occasional weekend or overnight cover with advance notice is ideal. Children: One infant girl (born Aug 2026) Conditions: $30 - $40 per hour* (guaranteed hours paid as a W2 employee + all hours over 40hr paid at x1.5 rate) plus unlimited monthly OMNYcard, sick/personal days, public holidays and at least two weeks paid leave per year.
