Quality Control Technician

We specialize in the manufacture and distribution of specialty sauces across North America, with a commitment to delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions to our customers.As we navigate a period of expansion and strategic initiatives, we are seeking a QC Tech on 1st shift to join our team and contribute to the company's continued success.The primary role of the Quality Control Technician is to ensure consistent food safety and product quality. Help to implement process control systems and preventative actions in the food safety area.Primary Responsibilities:The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:Monitor production line for Good Manufacturing Practices and CleanlinessPerform daily ATP swabs and sanitation inspectionsReport to and work closely with QA and/or QC ManagersCreate labels and tags as needed for production hold and releaseAbility to resolve daily issues and provide information on quality concernsApprove samples, open lab, and perform other duties as assignedPerform duties using effective communication skillsAbility to understand SQF, FDA (FSMA), USDA and other regulating agencies compliance as it pertains to preparing, requesting and approving official company documentsHACCP monitoring activitiesProperly document all data and provide timely and effective communication to production supervisors, management and other supervisorsFill in as needed in other areas of the Quality Department as assigned by the supervisorTo be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:Knowledge of Food Safety Practices, Safety Programs and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).Experience in a lab environment, wet chemistry preferred.1 - 2 years of industry experience preferably in a food manufacturing facilityProficient PC skills including Excel and Microsoft WordStrong verbal and written communication skillsDetailed oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and legible documentationWhat We OfferAt Tulkoff Foods, we value our employees and are committed to providing a positive work environment with competitive benefits and work-life balance.Our Benefits Include:401(k) with an 8% employer match on employee contributionsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceEmployer-paid Life InsurancePaid Time OffTwo Floating HolidaysMonthly Town Hall LunchesAdditional voluntary benefit optionsAir-conditioned production environmentFull-time schedules with minimal overtime, weekend work is seldom requiredPre-Employment RequirementsThis position is contingent upon successful passing a background check and drug screen. #J-18808-Ljbffr TULKOFF FOOD PRODUCTS OHIO LLC
