Job Title: Production Associate Job Description

The Production Associate assembles solar panels and related components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role uses hand tools, follows blueprints, and collaborates closely with team members to ensure accurate and efficient production of high-quality solar panel assemblies.

• Use hand tools to assemble solar panels and related components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and assembly prints to correctly build solar panel units.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to meet daily and weekly production goals.
• Perform general production and assembly tasks as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
• Inspect assembled components for quality, accuracy, and proper fit before moving them to the next stage.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent assembly processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient production.
• Handle materials and components safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
• Report any equipment issues, quality concerns, or process deviations to the appropriate personnel.

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly prints for solar panel construction.
• Proficiency using hand tools for mechanical assembly tasks.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with general labor, production, and assembly work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly of components.

• Background in general production or general production worker roles.
• Experience in manufacturing environments focused on assembly or production labor.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to follow established processes and continuously improve work practices.

This role is based in a new manufacturing facility that is actively developing climate-controlled areas. Some parts of the building may be non-climate controlled, so you should be comfortable working in varying temperature conditions. The environment is hands-on and production-focused, with frequent use of hand tools and mechanical assembly equipment. You will work on-site as part of a collaborative team, following standard safety practices and maintaining an organized work area.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, SC.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Orangeburg,SC.
